Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan better known as Sundar Picha, is an Indian-American business executive. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.Born in Madurai in India, Pichai graduated at IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. After making the move to the United States, Pichai earned an M.S. from Stanford University in materials science and engineering . He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he was named a Siebel Scholar and an Palmer Scholar, respectively.Pchai began his career as a material engineer. Following a brief stint at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. There, he was in charge of the development of Google Drive as well as innovation and product management. He also managed the development of Google Maps and Gmail. Pichai announced in the year 2010 that Google had made the video codec VP8 available to the public and had also launched WebM which is a brand new video format. The Chromebook was released in the year 2012. Pichai was the director of the release of Android in 2012, added Android to his list of Google products.
