Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. by the name of Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer known as being a part of the group One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, along with three schoolmates, he founded his own band, White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. Although he has always had an interest in the world of music but despite his enthusiasm for it he wanted also to pursue a career as a lawyer and physical therapist. As a worker at the city's baker Harry Styles managed to provide for his family. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The reason for this was that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a new band, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation took place in the year 2010, and the five young people were funded by Simon Cowell. The band performed songs like My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the candidates for the prize. They were in third spot behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who won.
